PRODUCTION MANAGER

As production manager you fulfill a crucial role within our organization. The production manager is responsible for the technical implementation of productions and has a crucial role in both the preparation phase and the implementation phase. The production manager works closely with the project manager and a (technical) designer can be called in where necessary. On site, the production manager is in charge of the operational team. Account, Project and Production together form the project team.

ACTIVITIES

• Preparing and executing (technical) productions within budget and planning;
• Making an overlay plan and estimating production costs;
• Execute site visits (after agreement with head of productions);
• Making technical drawings for production;
• Drafting a gearlist and requesting information from suppliers, including confirmation;
• Preparing and monitoring purchasing budget;
• Organize kickoff meeting production team;
• Making a production planning;
• Drafting a risk assessment;
• Managing backoffice regarding drawing up and sending production script to crew, suppliers and customer;
• Managing production & executive teams on location;
• Pass on possible calamities and any additional or less work to the project manager;
• Checking, arranging and reporting insurance(s) for production to the project manager;
• Responsible for good cooperation and handover with project manager;
• Active participation in the most up-to-date consultation structure;

• Fluent in both Dutch and English
• Mobile (driving license category B)

Als productie manager vervul je een cruciale rol binnen onze organisatie. De productie manager is verantwoordelijk voor de technische uitvoering van producties en heeft zowel in de voorbereidingsfase als in de uitvoeringsfase een belangrijke rol. De productie manager werkt hierbij nauw samen met de project manager en waar nodig kan een (technical) designer worden ingeschakeld. Op locatie heeft de production manager de leiding over het uitvoerende team. Account, Project en Productie vormen samen het projectteam.

WERKZAAMHEDEN 

• Voorbereiden en uitvoeren van (technische) producties binnen budget en planning;
• Maken van vlekkenplan en inschatting kosten productie;
• Uitvoeren site visits (na akkoord head of productions);
• Maken van technische tekeningen ten behoeve van productie;
• Opstellen gearlist en uitvragen richting leveranciers inclusief bevestiging;
• Opstellen en bewaking inkoopbudget;
• Organiseren kickoff meeting productieteam;
• Maken van productieplanning;
• Opstellen risk assessment;
• Aansturen van backoffice inzake opstellen en uitsturen productie script naar crew, leveranciers en klant;
• Aansturen productie & uitvoerende teams op locatie;
• Doorspelen mogelijke calamiteiten en eventueel meer- en minderwerk aan de project manager;
• Controle, (laten) regelen en rapporteren van verzekering(en) voor productie aan project manager;
• Verantwoordelijk voor goede samenwerking en overdracht met project manager;
• Actieve deelname aan de meest actuele overlegstructuur;

• Uitgebreide kennis van technische en/of site materialen is cruciaal;
• Ervaring in de evenementenbranche met de daarbij behorende kennis van alle evenementen takken;
• Flexibiliteit in werktijden door de dynamiek van de evenementenbranche;
• Vloeiend in zowel Nederlands als Engels;
• Mobiel (rijbewijs categorie B);
