The Dutch Veterans Day is an annual tribute in The Hague to all Dutch veterans. On this day, the National Veterans Day Committee honors all Dutch veterans who have committed themselves in the service of peace, now and in the past. This year, the Dutch Veterans Day was special, because more than 60 veterans received a medal for their recent efforts.

No less than 90,000 visitors traveled to The Hague for the public activities on the Malieveld and to stand along the route of the parade.
