The PUBG MOBILE Star Challenge World Cup 2019, one of the biggest e-sports tournaments, took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for the first time. The event took place in a local tent structure of 70x600m where it was not allowed to hang anything from the roof. Our partner Live Legends therefore asked Unlimited Productions to think along at an early stage, about what would be feasible in terms of the basic structure. We proposed a large ground support, on which the entire design was then based. Unlimited Productions then translated this into technical drawings and on-site we took care of the technical production in collaboration with the local partners. Approximately 30 tons of equipment was rigged on a ground support of 16 towers. 1000 lighting fixtures and 80 special FX units were used. The stage included 500m2 LED screens and 120 m2 LED floor.
