The opening of the National Holocaust Museum 2024
The opening of the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam took place on Sunday, March 10th, with Unlimited Productions providing the technical production, commissioned by XSAGA.
The challenge of this event arose due to the complex acoustics of the centuries-old synagogue where it took place. Consequently, the sound plan was carefully tailored to the space’s unique characteristics. Moreover, sightlines were restricted by the synagogue’s pillars, necessitating the installation of extra screens for attendees in less visible areas. All speakers and screens were suspended using Unlimited Solutions MGJ brackets, resulting in no need for tripods in space.
The entire program was broadcast live by NOS on NPO 1.
