100.000 flowers and plants together form this large mosaic, in honor of the Tour de France Femmes and the female pioneers in cycling. The mosaic located along the route in Naaldwijk covers 1.000 square feet and could be realized because of 65 volunteers and donations by 40 Dutch flower and plant growers.

After the first stage of the Tour de France yesterday, the mosaic turned into a picking garden. The remaining flowers are given away to the local food bank, nursing homes, hospitals and retirement homes.
